📰 What’s Inside This Month’s Edition?
This Month’s “Ask”: Defeat the SAVE Act
This month, we are focusing on the “SAVE” Act. This act would impose new restrictions on voters, likely disenfranchising many by requiring documents such as a U.S. passport (which about half of Americans don’t have) or a driver’s license that exactly matches the name on your birth certificate. Multiple studies show voter fraud is extremely rare and has never tilted an election result.

Take Action: The PCDCC urges members to call our senators to oppose this bill in the Senate (the House already passed it, with our current rep, Kevin Kiley, voting for it).

Meet Assembly Candidate Dianna James!
We have a strong candidate to replace Republican Heather Hadwick in California Assembly District 1: Dianna James! Dianna is a 5th-generation Californian, a proud resident of Mt. Shasta, and a former Foreign Affairs Officer. Her priorities include creating well-paying rural jobs, supporting small businesses, and protecting our land and water.
-
Take Action: Dianna needs campaign funds to win this reliably “red” district. Please consider contributing to diannajamesad1.com.
