This Friday, June 19th, the Plumas County Democrats and the Plumas-Sierra Political Coalition will gather at Dame Shirley Plaza for a special Friday Democracy Rally celebrating Juneteenth!
Juneteenth is a profound day in our nation’s history, marking the official end of slavery in the United States. We invite our community to come together not only to celebrate this historic milestone of freedom, but to reflect on the work that still lies ahead. Together, we must continue to advocate, organize, and vote to ensure absolute equality and justice for all our citizens.
