The 2024 election gave Americans a Commander-in-Chief who threatens our Democracy as he spirals toward autocracy and fascism.
We currently have a Republican controlled Supreme Court, which issues decisions that weaken our Democracy and give too much power to the presidency. We also have a Republican controlled Congress that has relinquished its fiscal and legislative powers in the system of checks and balances to trump! This dysfunction in the system of checks and balances envisioned by our founding fathers has given trump free rein to make decisions that threaten our Democracy and lead our nation toward a fascist autocracy.
